Because what could be better than playing our great sport for a week, in a beautiful place, with a group of fanatical beach players who come just for that! That's what you can expect when you come with us to Portugal.
We travel to Praia da Rocha in Portugal, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve. For years this beach has been the spot for several beach trips and since last year we know exactly why. The beach vibe is 100% there. With the sunsets, the beautiful rock formations and the ocean in the background, it is the perfect location to spend a week beaching!

Eat.
During these you will be immersed in beach life and everything that goes with it. For 7 days you will live as it were on your own beach planet. You are outside all day and you can eat on the beach terrace or in one of the many restaurants. There is everything. From burgers to fish. Pizza, tapas, vega and vegan. Everything is nearby. If you book Hotel da Rocha, we also advise you to choose only including breakfast. The restaurants nearby are too good to pass up!
Sleep.
Do you like nice luxury? Then of course you book Hotel da Rocha. It has four stars and lovely beds. The perfect accommodation to rest after your day of beach volleyball. Planning to stay in your bed a little less? Or looking for a cheaper accommodation. Then Algarve Mor is the place to sleep. The beds are fine. You have your own kitchenette and big plus. Since it's only a 3-minute walk to the fields, you can sleep extra late here !
Beach.
The main focus of our camps is beach volleyball: training and playing. During the trainings the trainers will work with you to strengthen your technique, improve your game and give you a boost towards the summer season.
In the afternoons, you can apply your training directly in the tournaments. Every week there are more than 100 players, from beginners to national top players. So you can always train and play at your own level.
Repeat.
This beach trip is extra cool because you will meet so many more beachers. We work together with Deep Dish Beach and in the spring beachers from all over the world come to Praia da Rocha. Many players who have been once come back every year. All people who love the game and beach life as much as you do. That often makes for exuberant fun and lots of extra games. After all, how fun is it to play against new or old friends again! One thing you can be sure of: you will go home with a lot of new beach friends!

Check out the complete weekly schedule below. Training sessions start on Sundays. You will train in the early training block one day and the late training block the next. Tournaments are often assigned by level of play.

Do you like being able to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the beach? Or do you prefer to stand in the kitchen a few times yourself? Then choose to book one of the apartments of Algarve Mor.
You will stay a stone's throw away from the fields. The apartments are basic, but fully equipped, making them a perfect base for beach camp.

Are you booking through someone who has already booked? Then you get the Tell A Friend discount until February 28. You pay 30 euros less per person and the person who makes your booking gets a Barefoot Cap or Barefoot Hoodie (with 3 or more bookings) as a gift.
Would you like to play beach volleyball but not train. then you get 110 euros discount on the above prices.
If you are a supporter and will not be playing volleyball, please ask about the specific price for non-players.
Prefer to choose your own accommodation?
If you prefer to stay in another hotel or apartment, that is also possible. You then choose your own vacation address and come and beach with us. You then book only for the camp pass.
The camp pass costs 389 euros with training and 279 without training. This is the price excluding the Tell a Friend discount.

Travel Tips
When you book with us, we take care of everything beach volleyball related. But of course you also have to get to our location! Below are our tips and options for traveling to Praia da Rocha.
Flights
There are many flights from Schiphol, Eindhoven or Rotterdam to Faro or Lisbon. So there is a lot of choice in terms of times and days. Faro is nice and close and Lisbon can sometimes be cheaper. Often there are also cheaper tickets from Brussels or Dusseldorf. Unfortunately, there is no night train going in Portugal at the moment.
Train/Bus/Car
From Faro, you can arrange a transfer through one of the online providers. You can also take the train or bus to Praia da Rocha. That takes about 2 hours. Would you also like to be a bit more flexible and go into the surrounding area? Then you can easily rent a car at the airport. Flying into Lisbon? There is a Flixbus going to Portimao. A ticket costs about a tenner and the bus is fast and reliable. Want to rent a car in Lisbon? Then book through AJulio. The prices are good and the service is even better. AJulio is 5 minutes from the airport, but you will be picked up and taken away again.
