Join a mixed group of Dutchies and internationals, work on your own game from Monday to Friday, watch the world’s best in action and experience the World Championships in The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

More information about the programme, accommodation and booking options will follow soon.

weekly program

Saturday – Arrival Day in Valencia
Arrive in sunny Valencia, check in to your accommodation and take some time to settle in. After a short walk down to the beach, the camp truly begins.
Meet your fellow campers and coaches, get your goody bag, and play some free volleyball to warm up. Then enjoy a welcome drink together — the perfect moment to make new friends and start the camp vibe.

Sunday – The Week Begins
After a good night’s rest, your first full camp day starts with an energizing beach training session — great for reconnecting with the sand, exploring your beach volleyball level, and meeting the group.
In the afternoon, we take a group photo and play a scramble tournament with rotating partners — an awesome way to get to know everyone.
We finish the day with a prehab/rehab session to take care of your body and keep you fit for the days ahead.

Monday – Play, Learn & Laugh
Morning training focuses on developing technique and gameplay. In the afternoon, it’s time for the Queen and King of the Court tournament — a dynamic format where teams battle it out with fast rotations.
In the evening, we hold a fun pub quiz for some relaxed social time off the sand.

Tuesday – Energy & Relaxation
Morning training continues developing teamwork in game-like situations. In the afternoon, you’ll play the mixed tournament, either with your partner or paired up with a new friend.
Evening brings a Sunset Stretch session — a chilled way to unwind as the sun goes down.

Wednesday – Variety on the Beach
After the morning session focusing on tempo and insight, the Beach Battle arrives — a playful yet competitive twist on beach volleyball.
We end the day with game night — board games and laughs off the sand.

Thursday – Focus & Finesse
The morning session sharpens advanced skills and detail play. The afternoon’s training gives you confidence going into the final tournaments.
Later, we gather again for another Sunset Stretch.

Friday – Final Tournament & Party
Friday is all about the End Tournament, where you put everything you’ve learned into practice in friendly competitive matches.
We finish the day with a closing party — time to celebrate, share highlights, and enjoy the camp spirit together.

Saturday – Final Rally
On the last morning, there’s room for a final play session and goodbye hugs before everyone heads home — with new friends, better skills, and sand in their minds.

Coaching & philosophy

Our coaching is designed to help you improve in a way that feels good: clear, energetic, and growth-oriented.
Lead coach Shaun Sturgess ensures a logical and enjoyable training structure where technique, gameplay, and fun are combined.
We coach with honesty and clarity — no endless shouting or unnecessary drills. You get feedback that helps you understand what you’re doing and how to improve, while always keeping room for flow and enjoyment.
This creates a training environment that’s serious enough to make real progress, but relaxed enough to enjoy your game and camp experience.

Group discount

More beachers means more discount! If you book with 5 or more people in a single booking you receive a 10% discount on the total sum. This is different than the group package as beachers in a group booking do not have to train together. So if you have friends of different levels you can still join and apply for a group discount.

Accommodations

Booking accommodation directly through us is currently not possible. However, we work closely with Hotel Lindala, which already offers better rates than most online booking platforms as standard.

Extra bonus: if you book via the Lindala website using our promo code “Barefoot Promo”, you’ll receive 5% off the total booking amount.

Prefer to arrange your own stay? That’s absolutely fine too. We play on the courts of Beachbol at Platja del Cabanyal. If you stay nearby, you’ll be glad to know you can get home easily—even with tired legs after a full day of beach volleyball. 🏖️

Flying from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, or Eindhoven is possible — group travel and ride-sharing with other campers is also an option.
Train travel is possible as well but has longer connections.

If you love daily training, choose the Gold pass. If you prefer tournaments and social play, the Silver option is great.
Still unsure? Contact us — we’ll help you find the right fit for your level and goals.

If you find it difficult to determine your own level you can always put some extra info about you in the comments, think of the training groups you might have back home, level of tournaments you play or even fellow beachers that you know of that have joined us in previous camps and how you compare to them.
If you still don’t know, don’t worry! Our headcoach will work together with the other coaches to see if there is another group that fits you better in case the initial group was not right for you.

Absolutely! Many solo travellers join our camps every year. We organise training, tournaments, and socials that help you connect and make new friends.

Not a problem at all! We welcome beachers of al nationalities. All of our coaches are used to coaching in English and as we have some international coaches you might even get lucky that they speak your native language.

Besides standard travel items, bring plenty of sport clothing, sunscreen, and at least one quality pair of sunglasses. Evenings can be cooler in spring, so bring some warmer layers too.
