Jun 05 Barefoot vibes at Scheveningen! Come to BEACHFEST!!!

The best of the beach on the beach! The sun, the sea. Being outside, being busy, the wind in your hair, drops of sweat on your forehead. Enjoying the top players at the European Beach Championship and just as much enjoying the game yourself! That sounds good, doesn't it! Barefoot Beach Camps and The Beach Volleyball School have initiated a well-rounded beach volleyball festival week and are very excited to tell you more about it now! So from July 14 to 22, 2018, come celebrate the sport of beach volleyball for a week at Rabobank Beachfest Powered by Mikasa!

Training
It's a party that the European Beach Volleyball Championship is in the Netherlands! And watching is fun, but working on your beach skills is just as much fun. The combination is ultimate!
That's why during Rabobank Beachfest there will be a training week led by top coaches from the Netherlands and abroad. The training times are designed so that you can be back in the stands at the European Championships in time to watch the top players.

Tournaments
Ultimately there is nothing better than playing matches yourself, it is the essence of beach volleyball. And Rabobank Beachfest is of course a perfect opportunity for that with, for example, the King & Queen Tournament, a unique concept with a refreshing game format! There's also the Glow In The Dark tournament on a sultry summer evening after sunset, as well as the 4×4 Beach & Pizza on Friday evening, where you can play a lot and enjoy the ultimate beach atmosphere. Oh yeah, and super fresh pizza ;). This tournament is also perfect for people without volleyball experience, so get your friends together and come play beach on the best beach in the Netherlands!

Besides the matches in our own The Hague, Beachfest also organizes trips to two of the other playing cities: Rotterdam and Utrecht!

Beachparty
Let's celebrate the beach life! Everything is better on the beach, and that is celebrated during the weekend that beach volleyball takes center stage in The Hague. The evening before the finals of the European Beach Championship, all the beach players can enjoy the sunset together in Scheveningen, raise their glasses and get their feet off the floor with the sand between their toes. A wonderfully relaxed and fun beach volleyball party!
